how to use it
Apply a layer of the scrub to damp skin with a circular scrubbing motion. If desired, use a body brush to increase the scrubbing effects and to increase stimulation. Rinse off completely.

This is the first Eminence Sugar Scrub I've tried. I love sugar scrubs and keep trying them despite the fact that many can be too harsh (the grains are too big), too oily, or too weak. This one has a remarkably smooth consistency with very even grain distribution in each scoopful. Lots of sugar in this product, that seems to be finely milled so its still gentle on the skin. Its very moisturizing as well, but not oily.
This particular scrub comes in a ziplock bag within the jar - a nice precaution that prevents leaking. I had this product sitting on my tub for a few weeks before I actually got around to using it and I appreciate that during this time, there was no separation or settling of the sugar, which can be common with all-natural products. The scent left something to be desired. I had hoped I would open the jar and be welcomed with an unmistakeable sweet tart blueberry fragrance, but instead it was a barely discernable somewhat sweet, sugary scent. I'm not sure if this is to be expected with the Eminence Sugar Scrubs or if its just this scent - to be certain, I think I will try other scents in the Eminence line before repurchasing this one. If I had liked the smell better, I would have given it a 5 since it is definitely the best sugar-based formula I've come across (And I've tried a lot).
