So far I am really enjoying this product, especially since I have nitpicky skin. My only complaint, and a mild one at that, is the texture, while elegant, is just a tad emollient for my face, and it takes a good while for the slippery feeling to subside. I look forward to seeing how this product does in the summer, especially in terms of persistent pigment darkening. So far, though, so good.
Perhaps the people who commented on this product should read the label and do some research on the chemicals in this sunscreen. Google Toxnet which has many databases and do some research. Also, check out Skin Deep (EWG) which has given this product a rating of 3 on a scale of 0 to 10 (being the worst). Skin Deep has also given two chemicals in this product, phenoxyethanol and malic acid a hazard rating of 4 on a scale of 0-10. Sun is not the only threat to your health. Chemicals can also be carcinogens, mutagens and endocrine disrupters. There are safer and more effective UVA blocking sunscreens that can be purchased. Invest in yourself and take the time to find out what you are really putting on your skin!
Actually a score of 3 from Skin Deep (EWG) is VERY good! the sunscreens they say are the safest are this score. The ones they consider so-so are scores of 5 or 6, the dangerous ones are 7 and above. This is a very safe sunscreen. ANY sunscreen has some chemicals, but this one has minimal and safe ones.
It's a light and non-greasy sun block. I always put this sun block on before my daily jogging. It won't slide off because of the sweat, yet no greasy or sticky feeling. I never get sun burned even I work out under the sun for one and half hours. I also apply it under my makeup for the regular day.
So, the good things about this sunscreen are the smell and that it is hydrating. However, in the summer, it tends to be a little too greasy for me and I have to wait 10 minutes for it to soak in. The biggest problem I have with it is the performance. It hardly holds up to the sun at all. Maybe I got a bad batch? Even in the first two hours right after putting it on, I still have trouble with sun getting in and I have found that I MUST wear makeup with SPF in it to help out plus a hat at all times. I don't think this one earns the SPF 50 rating.

I am not a novice when it coms to sunscreens. I have been around the block several times trying to find a sunscreen that a) doesn't break me out, b) doesn't irritate my skin, and c)is lightweight and enjoyable enough to apply that I will actually use it everyday. During my trial periods, I admit I have found a few that fit this criteria, but once I happened upon the Epionce, I abandoned all others. I cannot recommend this sunscreen enough!
