This was recommended to me by my esthetician. She told me to use it on days when my skin felt dry and rough and blah. What a genius! Every time I use this mask, my skin feels soft and smooth. It does a fantastic job of dissolving away the tight, dry, flaky skin. My only problem is that after I use it, I can't stop touching my face!! I love this and hope it never gets discontinued.
I tried this at my Drs office after they told me about the discontinuation of Pure Enzyme. It does not have the same sensation at the Pure Enzyme and does not work as well. I disliked this new formulation so much that I scoured the internet for stores that had not yet sold out of the Pure Enzyme and bought 3 bottles of the old formula. I wish they would bring back the old product. I usually love La Roche products.
I was very unimpressed with the product. Normally I swear by La Roche-Posay products, especially facial products, but this one leave much to be desired. It did nothing for my skin nor my daughters', and we each have different skin types. I used to love Pure Enzyme by La Roche, and used that until it was discontinued. We have tried this product for four months, and it does absolutely nothing! I do recommend using the fresh skin of a papaya instead, which has worked wonders since we saw it on a popular talk show. This, however, needs to return to the lab.
