about the product
Enhance the quality of your shave with The Art of Shaving Fusion Chrome Collection - Shaving Brush. It is crafted of classic chrome and accompanied by pure badger hair to generate a rich, warm lather. The handle is designed for comfort and durability and has a micro-textured surface for style and grip.
who it's for
This brush is ideal for those who want gentle exfoliating action to enhance the quality of the shaving experience.
key ingredients
The badger hair brings sufficient water to the skin as it softens and lifts the beard while gently exfoliating the skin, ensuring the best shave, every shave.
how to use it
Wet Shaving Brush with hot water. Place a small amount of Shaving Cream on the tip or center of brush. Bring to a lather on face using a circular motion. To generate a fuller and richer lather, simply add more hot water to brush.
I purchased this brush from Apothica on August 9, 2009. By November, it had completely fallen apart, with the brush head detaching from the handle. Upon inspection, it was clear that there was insufficient surface area for the bottom of the brush knot to make contact with the handle. Additionally, there was only a minute amount of glue used. I tried to use an epoxy that is water-proof, resistant to chemicals, and can withstand 212F temperatures but the lack of any contact surface for the brush resulted in a failure of the attempt to repair. The materials are fine and the brush lathered quite well but the build quality is simply abysmal.
